1. Agreement to Terms

By enrolling in a membership, purchasing services, participating in any class, event, private lesson, open mat, or activity and/or by using the facilities at NEXUS, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, as well as each policy specific to your purchases/s.

2. Assumption of Risk & Participation

Martial arts training involves inherent risks, including physical contact, strenuous activity, training equipment and working with other participants. These risks may result in serious injury, permanent disability, death, or other loss. You understand these risks may come from your own actions, the actions of others, facility conditions, equipment use, or other unforeseen factors. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks and accept responsibility for any injury or loss that may occur.

3. Health & Medical Acknowledgment

You confirm that you are physically and mentally able to participate and that no medical or mental health professional has advised you not to train.

If an emergency occurs, you authorize NEXUS to seek medical treatment on your behalf and release NEXUS from liability related to that care.

4. Release & Waiver of Liability

You agree to release and hold harmless NEXUS, its owners, instructors, coaches, staff, volunteers, affiliates, and property owners from any claims related to injury (including death) or property damage, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. This applies to you, your heirs and legal representatives.

5. Membership Term, Billing & Authorization

You authorize NEXUS to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected membership. Billing continues unless your membership is properly canceled under these Terms.

Missed classes, dissatisfaction, schedule conflicts, relocation, illness, injury, or personal circumstances do not qualify for refunds or charge reversals.

6. Membership Pause Policy

Memberships may be paused for a monthly fee that varies by membership type. The applicable pause fee is based on your specific membership plan and pricing schedule. Pause requests must be submitted in advance and in writing by email to info@nexus-az.com and are subject to approval.

Billing will automatically resume at the end of the approved pause period unless otherwise confirmed in writing. Pause fees are non-refundable.

8. Refunds & Chargebacks

You agree not to file a chargeback for charges that comply with these Terms. If a dispute is filed, this agreement, payment records and/or communication history may be used as evidence.

Improper chargebacks may result in additional fees where permitted by law.

9. Photo, Video & Media Consent

You give NEXUS permission to photograph or record you and/or your child(ren) during classes or events and to use that content for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes.

NEXUS owns all media, no compensation is provided, and you waive any right to approve final materials.

10. Final Acknowledgment

You confirm that you’ve read and understand these Terms & Conditions.

By enrolling, participating and/or clicking to agree, you accept these terms and acknowledge that they are fair, binding, and enforceable.
